GatherPoint at Ave Maria, Florida | New Homes & Community Guide

If you’re considering new construction in Ave Maria, Florida, GatherPoint should be one of the communities on your list.

GatherPoint is one of the newest neighborhoods within Ave Maria and is being developed with homes from Pulte Homes and Lennar. The community was designed to offer a wide variety of housing choices, including single-family homes, attached villas and townhomes, making it an option for buyers at several different stages of life.

Current plans call for approximately 947 homes within GatherPoint. The neighborhood occupies roughly 328 acres and is designed as a multi-generational community rather than a 55+ neighborhood.

For buyers relocating to Southwest Florida, GatherPoint provides another way to enjoy the Ave Maria lifestyle while purchasing a brand-new home with modern floor plans and community amenities.

Pulte Homes and Lennar at GatherPoint

One of the things that makes GatherPoint interesting is that buyers aren’t limited to a single builder.

Both Pulte Homes and Lennar are building within the neighborhood, giving buyers different floor plans, home styles, options and price points to compare. Ave Maria currently describes GatherPoint as offering both one- and two-story new homes from these two builders.

This can be an advantage when shopping for new construction because two homes within the same neighborhood may offer very different layouts and features.

Rather than starting with a builder, I generally recommend that buyers first consider what they actually need in a home:

  • Number of bedrooms and bathrooms
  • One-story versus two-story living
  • Garage size
  • Home office or flex-room space
  • Outdoor living space
  • Move-in timeframe
  • Homesite location
  • Overall budget

From there, it becomes much easier to compare the different GatherPoint floor plans.
